The Midwest is LC's backyard. The East Coast is her playground and the Wild West is where her imagination runs free. Her early life was enriched at the Detroit Library, schooled at the Society of Arts and Crafts, and nurtured at Michigan State University. Raised in advertising agencies that included Leo Burnett and Foote Cone and Belding, she was seasoned with with radio and tv ads and programming. She is traditional.  She is contemporary.  A rule keeper, a rule breaker.  She writes dialogue you believe, environments you can see, smell and feel. Her paragraphs are lean and mean and occasionally long and loving. And always, always, honest to a fault.
